How to bike comfortably with a recumbent!

Spread the love

Easy riding!

All you OLDER cyclers/bikers out there!
Yes I’m talking to YOU!

I have some good news for those who love to ride bikes but are getting up there in years and while the spirit is willing, the body has started complaining.  Riding with a regular “diamond style” bicycle can be pretty hard on the back, booty, hips, neck and arms.  Maybe you have been riding crouched over your handlebars sitting on a tiny saddle with your head cranked up to see your path for years and you now suffer with, neck, low back and booty and hip pain after a ride.   Biking is becoming less fun for you and recovery time after a long ride is stretching to days before you feel good enough to ride again.

The world of “bent” biking is growing greater every year.  “Bent” or “recumbent” bikes are becoming expodentially more mainstream and we are seeing them a lot more along the streets and paths alongside the regular “diamond style” bikers.
